Objectives and Description:

Process & Systems Upgrade Program offers financial incentives to qualifying businesses in upgrading their systems (upgrade should save at least 100 MWh annually). Incentives include:

  • up to $10,000 to compare the upgrades available for a key process or single system.
  • up to $50,000 for the in-depth technical and financial information needed to build a solid business case.
  • $200 per MWh for annualized energy savings; 70% of eligible project costs.
  • up to 80% of the salary of an on-site energy expert up to $100,000. 
  • up to 80% of the cost of a monitoring and targeting system – to a maximum of $75,000 per site.

High Performance New Construction Program:

Objectives and Description:

High Performance New Construction Program provides design assistance and substantial financial incentives for building owners and architects who exceed the electricity efficiency standards specified in the Ontario Building Code. Building owners will receive up to $400 for every kilowatt saved for lighting measures and up to $800 for every kilowatt saved for non-lighting projects, or up to $75 per multi-residential in-suite appliance. They are also eligible to receive up to 100% of the cost of modelling a building or addition.

Objectives and Description:

Showerhead Rebate Program offers commercial multi-residential customers a rebate for each standard showerhead of 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) or greater that is replaced with an energy-efficient showerhead of 1.5 gpm or less. The customer incentive amounts to $6/showerhead.

RunitRight Program:

Objectives and Description:

RunitRight Program enhances an existing building's systems to find energy efficiencies. It analyzes the building's energy performance to identify, implement and monitor low- and no-cost operational improvements that can lead to five per cent energy savings. Once the consultant has identified areas for operation improvements, Enbridge will provide a financial incentive of up to $10,000 for the implementation of multiple measures. In addition to the financial incentive, Enbridge will provide training for operation managers.

Objectives and Description:

Boiler Program offers rebates to customers who rent or purchase and install non-atmospheric hydronic boilers, which must be used for space heating and/or hot water heating and must have 85 percent to 88 percent thermal efficiencies. Financial incentives are also available for condensing boilers, condensing economizers, direct contact water heaters and direct contact heat exchangers.
