Objectives and Description:
Home Assistance Program helps qualified homeowners, tenants and social and/or assisted housing providers improve the energy efficiency of their homes through the installation of:
- energy-saving light bulbs
- a power bar
- a low-flow showerhead (in homes with electric water heating)
- faucet aerators (in homes with electric water heating)
Homeowners may also be eligible for a new, energy-efficient refrigerator, room air conditioner, programmable thermostat, weather-stripping around doors and windows and additional insulation in the attic or basement.
